In the year 1992, a group of youth from the Gaza strip took upon their shoulders the responsibility for a project of nurturing (tarbiyah) the children and people of Gaza on the teachings of the Noble Qur’an and Prophetic Sunnah.

And so, the number of such Huffadh in the ‘Safwat al-Huffadh’ project, which took place in the years 2022 and then in 2023, reached over two thousand Hafidh and Hafidhahs. In reality, if we were to give Gaza a name, we would name it ‘Madinat al-Qur’an’ (the City of the Qur’an).

A city in which every year, hundreds of thousands of people graduate from Quran and Sunnah programmes.
