بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Preparation for the grave requires sincere reliance upon Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, regular recitation of Suratul Mulk, consistent charity, and thoughtful reflection on death.
These deeds should not remain occasional actions; they should become part of our daily lives and a means of drawing closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
There is an English saying:
“It takes the living to close the eyes of the dead, but it takes the dead to open the eyes of the living.”
We should ponder over this deeply. Thinking about death exposes the reality of life and helps us recognise what truly matters. It reminds us that this world is temporary and that our real preparation is for the life to come.
